No matter where you want to go, you need a passport. A passport opens the door to a diverse and colourful world. Unfortunately, not everybody around the world owns one. Many people feel that there are many barriers to travel – be it a complicated application process for a passport, the overall cost of travel or simply not knowing where to start the planning process.
At momondo, we believe that everybody should be able to travel. We want to empower people to become their own best travel agent, plan their own journeys and discover the diversity of the world. That’s why we’ve launched the Passport Initiative. We want to help people get one step closer to discovering the world by sponsoring their passport.
The first stage of the initiative will focus on the world’s most expensive passport relative to income – the Turkish passport. 75 lucky winners will have their passport sponsored by momondo and one of them will also win a trip to her/his dream destination.
The Passport Initiative is part of the Let’s Open Our World movement, an invitation to cross boundaries, embrace our differences and open our world.
