Munro Manor Mossel Bay Guesthouse Accommodation Garden Route South Africa Munro Manor is situated above Munro’s Hoek overlooking Santos beach in Mossel Bay. Munro’s Hoek is where Bartolomeu Dias landed in 1488. The area was named after a Mr Munroe who settled here in 1831 with a concession to cull seals. He built the quaint Old Cape thatched home in front in which to live in and the back building as a tavern, one of the first two such drinking establishments in the in the settlement.
