North Kenya Expedition Part 3 – Tackling the Chalbi Desert | 2016

After seeing a mountain, a lake, a remote village on the lake, a desert and many villages along the way, we finally descended upon Marsabit Town at around 9pm. We didn’t know what to expect in Marsabit but we realized there’s a lot of construction going on and the town is growing rapidly. We camped in the park where you can see elephants with some of the biggest tusks in Kenya. However, we didn’t manage to spot any. It was beautiful nonetheless.

The journey was a beautiful one which will stay with us forever. This story is not only about the places we go but also about how the four of us have become the best of friends through adventure. Sometimes we hate each other, most times we love each other. And we’re lucky to forage even further into this beautiful land of ours.
